kvm is the minimal implementation of
hardware virtualization (detectable as vmx
or svm in /proc/cpuinfo) that leveraged the
device drivers that qemu project had aready
developed for software cpu to get near-bare-
metal performance in a virtualized guest for
CPUs that support it, once enabled in the bios.
