[conspire] RIP: Nana Second

Sadly, I just heard the news that Nana Second, aka Kaye Griffin, passed
away peacefully at Laguna Honda Hospital yesterday.

Carol Queen will be organizing a remembrance service. Since Nana was
involved with so many groups and activities over the years, it will take a
bit of time for Carol to track down all the interested parties and to find
a suitable date. I'll post details once I have them.

I regret to say that Nana is currently in hospice care at Laguna Honda
Hospital, for terminal cancer. The prognosis is that she has several weeks
left, perhaps 8 weeks at the outside.

I visited Nana yesterday. If any of you would like to see her, please
contact me off-list for details.

At Nana's request, Carol Queen is planning a remembrance service in San
Francisco. If any of you have particular stories about her that you would
like to share (Nana was involved with a lot of different groups over the
years), I can put you in touch. I can post details about the time and date
once I have them.
