Let me help you: Nobody was making a a 'point about the TLD and root
names', and you're probably confusing authoritative (which means
something in DNS) with 'valid' (which does not).

If you cleverly noticed that the rDNS for dig -x 162.252.205.148 returns
a TLD that is unrecognised by the root nameservers, well done on that,
sir! But what's your point?
