[conspire] upgrading from ubuntu 10.04 -> 12.04.4 -> 14.04 ?

great, thanks, I'd done some further modest nosing around after posting my 
query and not (yet) run across that...oh, doh, yeah, RTFRN 8^)

Also, I discovered that apparently the intermediate releases between 10.04 
-> 12.04.aren't available (or at least I didn't (yet) find them) and so it 
looks like I gotta make the big jump in any case.
