While Rick, the Norwegian, was trying to fit in with the Swedes, I was doing "my" traditional start of summer weekend.

Amateur Radio (aka ham radio),has an event called Field Day.  Depending on your point of view, it is an exercise in emergency communications or excuse to spend an entire weekend playing with radios.  We also had a temporary Wi-Fi link between the tents.

This video pretty much summarizes it.  It was made in Texas, but I am sure I recognize several of the scenes.
