On Friday, I visited the Sunnyvale Fry's Electronics.  They appear to no
longer carry boxed sets of any Linux or BSD distribution.  They do have a
number of books about individual Linux distributions that each have 
bundled optical media with (grossly outdated) Linux distros on them.

I'll attempt to check Palo Alto, too.
