[conspire] Patent Case Fall Out

Wonder why Samsung won in England and South Korea, but not here? Apparently a key piece of evidence wasn't entered in time by Samsung's attorney's, a rather key piece of evidence. An attorney tells me that because it was a civil case, that evidence cannot be entered into the appeal and because the case is "settled," Samsung cannot file a countersuit (outrageous.) I expect Google will now proceed to reem out Apple for Apple's infringement of certain Android features; check out this diagram:

It made sense for Google to sit back and await the outcome of the trial. If Samsung had prevailed, Google could proceed down the high road. Now that Samsung lost, Google can stoop to Apple's level.
