Yes.  Bruce commented, and I actually very much agree with him, that on
the one hand he's sorry my helmet broke apart, but on the other hand
it's a good thing my helmet broke apart:   Doubtless, it had taken
cumulative damage from a large number of very small impacts (like, being
dropped to the ground) over the 25-30 years since I bought it, so it's
A Good Thing it broke now, rather than in time of need.
