There have been several of these fuck-ups that have made me come really
close to summarily dis-inviting CABAL from my house, e.g., when Denise
Huebner had to be taken to the emergency clinic because she was choking
on a chicken bone, I went with her and her husband trusting to the
regulars to close up properly when they left, and I returned to find
_eight_ citronella candles still burning on my back patio.

Fire.  Unattended.

This isn't New Jersey in spring we're talking about, but rather
California in summer.  Very dry.   We have wildfires here.  Fire kills
lots of people.  Whichever idiot who last left risked burning down my
home _and_ west Menlo Park as a whole.  I was EXTREMELY not happy.

And tonight I am extremely not happy, once again.   You people are not
frelling five years old.  I shouldn't have to babysit you just so you
don't do OBVIOUSLY STUPID AND DANGEROUS THINGS.  GROW THE HELL UP,
PEOPLE.
