Yes, there are ways to shoehorn severely pared down and barely
functional 'micro' or 'micro-plus' versions of things like DD-WRT into
it.  No, you should not do that, because it will be a huge hassle,
because the results will not be satisfactory, and because you should
spend your time and effort in better ways.

But you're a masochist who has boundless time and who doesn't mind
living through huge amounts of frustration and disappointment?  OK, go ahead.
