Just passing along.  In case people have forgotten, Google Chrome OS 
is an extremely locked-down (and proprietary) Ubuntu variant, still
under pre-release development, whose user interface is deliberately
limited to the proprietary Google Chrome Web browser, with the intention
of having substantively all user data in Google's Internet servers and
for the user to rely on Google's proprietary hosted Web applications for
everything.  (There's no reason it shouldn't also work equally well with
other people's intranet applications, however.)
