Sorry to have to do this, especially one day before, but, in a nutshell:

1.  Deirdre and I aren't currently healthy to be around.
2.  And we need bed rest.  (We'll be fine, it's just a really bad
    headcold brought back from Australia.  Not that I blame our 
    wonderful hosts and friends in Melbourne.  I maintain it was
    another American visitor at the Worldcon who was too stupid to 
    wash his hands and went around giving it to everyone.  That's 
    my story and I'm sticking to it.)
3.  And I haven't gotten much sleep since our return on Tuesday,
   'cause of the coughing.
4.  And, just to complete the misery, I'm right now on a mandatory
    week of 24x7 on-call primary sysadmin duty.  (The silver lining
    is that any 4 AM calls might _not_ get me out of bed, because
    of already being up coughing.

Again, don't worry about us.  We just doing want to either give you this
crawling horror from the antipodes, nor do we want to wear ourselves out
being your hosts _this_ Saturday.
