You should be aware, by the way, that there's now more than one Ubuntu
image for netbooks.  I'm sure that what you're looking for is the one
for Intel Atom (i386-family) netbooks.  However, there are now also 
two other images:  armel/dove and armel/imx51, subtypes of the ARM
family of low-power CPUs from Marvell and Freescale, respectively.

All three discs are (installable) live CDs.
