He's been in Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, in San Jose, since the
afternoon of Sunday, October 24th.  He's currently in the Transitional
Care department of the main hospital building.

I hope you'll pardon me, Ruben, if I come across as coy about details of
David's condition.  Nobody actually told me much for starters, and I
haven't asked a lot of questions because I'm not even family or a close 
friend.  What little I know I've tended not to post, because a person's
privacy is involved.


As an addendum to my earlier messages, Deirdre and I noticed David's
brother dropping by, so I gather that he's keeping an eye on things.
Also, it's probable that visiting hours end at _8 PM_, not 9 PM as I
posted before.
