Travelers beware:  9th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that US
Customs may seize and search international travelers' laptops and other
electronic devices and _hold them for an indefinite period_ without any
showing of probable cause or even of reasonable suspicion (because of
the "border search doctrine").
