Oh wow, I didn't realize anyone actually still *used* digest mode! I
mean, it made sense in the UUCP era and all, but nowadays what purpose
does it even serve?
Surely all mailers these days have filters and sorting and features like
that, and digests take up the same amount of disk space as a normal
subscription, surely. Let's also not forget that this list doesn't
generate much traffic, so digests are likely delayed by quite a bit.
Bruce, I'm really sorry, but this conversation will only continue to
become more and more confusing unless you switch to a standard
subscription and standard message quoting procedures. Top-posting a
whole digest and annotating with brackets just doesn't sustain itself.
Digest subscription! I feel like the 1980s never left!
