USB volumes of all shapes and sizes have encouraged me to fsck.vfat
between unmounting and disconnecting as a matter of habit.  You'd be
amazed at how much space gets wasted, and how corrupt the damn things
can get.  It's very much like living in the 1980s, just for a moment.
