It really is funny:  Ximian and Novell go completely GTK-centric because they don't want to pay licensing fees to Trolltech, then they also go .NET-centric, creating all kinds of libraries and programs combining GTK with .NET.  Then they cave in to Microsoft. This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!

You can't really get angry at Novell for what they are doing. They acquired SuSE, did some software integration and marketing. They made their gambit and it didn't work very well (though it showed some signs of improvement recently.) Selling out to Microsoft is about the best they can hope for at this point.
