Daniel,

Ubuntu was booted, I had a few terminal windows open. I went to
put a cd in the tray but hit the power button instead of the
button on the cd-rom tray.

Now, Ubuntu will not boot up. I'm getting a console with the
following:
Loading, please wait...
insmod: can't read
'/lib/modules/2.6.12-10-powerpc/kernel/drivers/video/console/bitblit.ko'
: No such file or directory
'/lib/modules/2.6.12-10-powerpc/kernel/drivers/video/console/font.ko' :

such file or directory
'/lib/modules/2.6.12-10-powerpc/kernel/drivers/video/vga16fb.ko' : No
such file or directory

It hangs here.

I tried using the Ubuntu CD - rescue-powerpc. It gave me a shell
and I don't know what I should do in the shell.

Do I need to install from scratch?

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you,

Darlene
