I am using a Farallon ethernet iPrint Adaptor. It is seamless from the
ethernet side and does the Appletalk translation.

If you use the 8200, it has to be on and sharing the printer, if it
can, to even allow
other machines to see the printer. With the Appletalk to ethernet
bridge, only the
bridge and printer need to be on for any computer on your network to
use it.
