A highly similar site for Mandriva users (if there are any left who
haven't defected to Ubuntu, SUSE, etc.) is Penguin Liberation Front,
http://plf.zarb.org/ .

The DAG repository serves a similar purpose for Fedora Core:
http://dag.wieers.com/

For Ubuntu, as noted in the forwarded message, the debian-multimedia
(ex-marillat) repository is your friend.


As always with unofficial repositories, if your system breaks, your
remedy is that you get to keep both pieces.  (You may encounter
problems; those are yours to deal with.)
