Right you are.  Fixed.

Really?  The prior sentences put this in the context of arriving by 
train in downtown Menlo Park, and then either walking or taking SamTrans
/ Marguerite shuttle to our vicinity.  

I doubt that anyone arriving on CalTrain will be pulling a Fiat out of
his vest pocket -- or be in the habit of stashing cars near train
stations.  So, we're basically talking about pedestrians, bicyclists,
and shuttle/bus riders (the latter being pedestrians for the last 
few blocks.  I figure the bicyclists will notice the "One Way" sign, 
and shift to the sidewalk.

I _could_ direct such people up Gordon rather than Avy, and was tempted,
but (1) Avy has a gentler slope, and (2) keeping turns at more-major
intersections seems a little less likely to confuse people.
