The company I work at uses SourceForge Enterprise Edition. I can't say that it works badly, but I certainly can't recommend it. For us, the performance is poor, especially the performance of the tracker aspect. Secondly, the mailing lists do not thread properly with Microsoft Exchange, which presents usability problems. One of the benefits, however, is the support personnel, which are always willing to help out and reply quickly to issues that arise (and there are many). All in all, I do not recommend it. Unfortunately, I've not used any other product in this area, and don't have a positive recommendation.
